International travel has been a passion throughout my adult life, including living abroad for five years, in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Highlights include a Eurailpass around Europe, playing rugby in the UK, elephant-back riding in Thailand, river rafting and trekking the Himalayas of Nepal, sailing a 32-foot sloop from California to Hawaii, photo safari in Kenya, being tailed by Soviet agents in Ethiopia, guest of honor at a Saudi Arabian "baptism" (presented with eye of lamb appetizer -- not bad), a six-week overland trip across India, and teaching English in a Thai monastery.
I am now joyfully retired. I don't miss the early morning alarm clock, but I do miss solving "impossible" problems daily with our team of project experts. For fun I teach Project Management part-time at a nearby university, and spend a lot of time in our backyard "orchard" tending our two dozen fruit trees. And, I still enjoy hopping on airplanes -- to anywhere !!
I'd love to hear from my old Redwood classmates.
