Dear All,

Reunion #50 for THE CLASS OF 1970 is officially postponed!! Despite our optimism, in consideration of the virus and the new social-distancing rules, we think it's prudent to change plans. The September 12, 2020 booking at McInnis Park Club has been cancelled. While the club, the golf course, driving range and mini-golf have recently re-opened w/social distancing, the management at the club feels that no banquets or large gatherings will be allowed until a vaccination or viable treatment for Covid19 has been found and made available to all. We are hoping this means we can have a reunion in the Fall of 2021. Please PASS IT ON! We still don't have current email addresses for about half of our classmates. Tell everyone you encounter from THE CLASS OF 1970 to join and update their contact info. That way we can keep many more up to date about what our plans will be... hopefully next year.

Be safe, Be well, Be hopeful, Be kind, Be good, Be Giants!

Each spring the Redwood Alumni Association gives a $2500 scholarship to a deserving student. We need your support to keep this tradition alive, now more than ever. Please support the Class of 2020 by contributing $25 or more by May 15, 2020 to this wonderful cause and help a student reach his/her dreams. You may donate to honor a former teacher, staff member or classmate and we will notify them.

Redwood News

Many Alumni are interested in what is going on at Redwood today. Here are some places to find out.

Redwood Bark Online The award-winning BARK now has print and online journalism classes. This site is kept current by students and is better than most papers.

Redwood TV This is fairly new. Students from Leadership regularly inform students of what is going on. It is broadcast into classrooms during homeroom. If you want to see what kids are wearing and doing, check it out!

To find additional links to RHS news go to Redwood News on the All-Alumni website.

yes In 2104 Redwood Alumni Association opened an official All-Alumni web-site at  It offers a free and safe on-line Alumni & Retired Teacher directories, Alumni news and greater communications between all Alumni & classes. In the future and may share information but due to privacy considerations, for now even if you've joined this site you must also join the All-Alumni site to fully access to both. We encourage you to join both because it helps us maintain our own class of 1970 directory and the new web site has information about more All-Alumni related things than you'll find here. So please click here and join. Thanks!
