Bruce grew up in the Bel Air neighborhood in the Cove part of Tiburon, living next door to Bob Guider. Along with Mike Mosier and Jane Smith, we were roommates after graduation from RHS until he married Jane around 1973. Speaking for the period when we were close, Bruce loved music - together with Rob Yeager we played guitar to the songs of the times; partied with so many friends, socialized and worked hard to make a fulfilling life during the turbulent times of that era; Bruce could be contemplative, introverted, but always thoughtful of others. Looking back, we may have all been a little dillusional back then but remained optimistic for a bright future. And as some of us experienced at times in our lives, Bruce was challenged by personal demons but persevered in the end. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father - he was a good human being and will be missed.

Bruce was my first friend. He lived five doors down from me. He and Bob Guider and I used to get together with our parents when we were little rascals. I remember Bruce coming to my 3rd, 4th and 5th birthdays. . Sometime we're were even mistaken for each other as we both toe heads and had the same name In 1958, my dad designed and helped a house above Reed School as we left Bel Air. Bruce's family stayed in the Bel Air area and while he went at Bel Air school, I went to Reed School. Bruce went to Del Mar as I did but we had different friends and when we went to Redwood, I'd only see him in the halls in passing. I remember he was a great kid and I am so sorry to see that he died a few years ago.
I am so sorry I missed all of these comments. A lot over time has passed. I knew Bruce had passed and it saddened me. He was my best friend for many years. We did everything together. I remember driving thru the western states with 15 bucks each and some hash lol. We ran out of gas in tahoe and somebody gave us enough gas to get home. We also took another trip to Mexico, he made me drive in Tijuana crazy. We hitchhiker to Yosemite one time. I could go on and on but will leave it here. He stayed with me again in southern ca. For awhile. That was the last time I saw him. I think of him Bob, Mike often. Luv those guys!!
