I was very sad to hear about Tom's passing.

Though it had been almost a lifetime ago, the memories of my time together with Tom are sweet memories.

Our first dates were ‘crack of dawn’ work trips to the old S.F. Produce Market to shop for organic produce for Campolindo in San Anselmo, which Tom’s older brother Peter Bricca, co-owned.

Tom introduced me to freshly made carrot juice (turning our palms orange from drinking too much) and avocado toast (before it became a pricey menu item).

He loved a good adventure or challenge. He got me up in a sail-plane glider in Sonoma and we climbed to the top of Half Dome.

Off to University of Oregon we went and had so much fun with other RHS grads there. Highlights were getting seats at McArthur Court (even in the nosebleed section) to see amazing basketball games—Go Ducks!

Tom loved to cook, and at Oregon, we made inexpensive, but delicious recipes; a favorite was French Onion soup and Crème Brule--(onions and eggs turned fancy).

Our trip to Europe in ’76 will remain as a treasured memory--an amazing adventure. We traveled to 11 Countries in 9 weeks, including trekking in the Swiss and Austrian Alps, inspired by his wonderful mom and dad, Molly and Bill Bricca.

I will forever remember my time with Tom. It was full of adventure and first love.

Rest in peace dear Tom. heart
