Dave was a good friend to me in high school and I was saddened to learn recently of his death.  We had a bunch of good times together.  I will always remember his classic yellow Model A Ford and seeing the pavement passing by underneath the floor of his car as we were driving!  Also, I remember him teaching himself to play the banjo in practically no time at all..I was truly blown away!

Although in high school we both had aspirations of becoming the next Frank Lloyd Wright, only Dave came close to achieving that goal.  I know Dave received a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley; somehow along the way I became enamored by rocks.

Dave, you are not forgotten and your friendship in high school is much appreciated.

Dave always had a dry sense of humor and to me,  he seemed to come from another generation as he dressed very conservatively and acted with great respect toward elders and figures of authority,  something not comman back in our day.

He was a gentleman,  was very bright and  you could tell he was headed for fine things later in life.

I was so sorry when my friend Herman Schwarz told me that dave had died suddenly back in the summer of 1996.   Good  man!
